WHY “ALCHEMY”?

The ultimate goal of Alchemists was to find the way to convert any base metal into Gold.
That’s why we called our Musical Theatre company “Alchemy”.
From a simple work piece, some songs and a story; we combine them, catalyse them, watch them react together and from that base matter, our goal is to create a Journey, an Experience, a slice of Life for the audience.

A NEW TAKE ON EVERY SHOW:

We aim to produce semi-professional and professionals Musicals and Cabaret shows for Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast Regions.
We want to create more than shows. What’s the point doing shows others have done before us, exactly the same way they did?
We want to create a real new and refreshing, maybe sometimes challenging, experience for the audience.

Artists must be rewarded for their time, energy, work and talent. At Alchemy Productions, we pay everybody.
It’s tough and daunting, especially for such a young company, but we wouldn’t do it any other way.
If we’re making money, the artists who work with us must make money too.
